We know our customers value transparency so we try to have all our communication be direct and honest. The more time we spend up front establishing expectations before the project starts, the better the foundation of trust will be that will ultimately lead to a great working relationship together. We will be very specific when communicating updated timelines and other factors that can/will change throughout the project. We always make sure to allow time for questions to avoid confusion or misunderstandings.
2. Updated Contract
We have adapted our contract to not just protect us, but our customers as well. This will help both parties in the event of a misunderstanding or the lack of products and constant price increases. You will want to take time to read your contract and ask questions. We work closely with a few industry associations to make sure we are staying up to date with the latest trends and communication practices. There are many great resources available through the National Roofing Contractors Association.
3. Relax
This may seem obvious but something it is hard to remember - take a deep breath and trust that you have selected a great contractor. A lot of what is going on right now is outside of everyone's control. Stress and panic are not good for anyone and it doesn't change the situation. We want to assure you that we are doing all we can to gain your confidence in our ability to handle the situation. We try not to overcommit to our customers so we try to be realistic, but hopeful.
