KENDALL EKERSON

Kendall grew up in Oregon, in fact she is a fourth generation Oregonian. She graduated from Portland State University with her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and Marketing. She grew up in a family of construction workers, specifically roofers. She worked for over 17 years in the family roofing business. Her focus was on marketing as well as wearing other leadership hats to help grow the business. Over the years she has grown a passion for not only growing the business, but working on the internal culture of the business as well. Just because she was working in construction did not mean she could not bring class, pose and professionalism to the company.

Kendall enjoys hosting events as well and planning them. She loves to help people enjoy them as well. Weather it is a small birthday party, company picnic or your wedding day, she pulls out all the stops to make the day special. She has been involved in the National Women in Roofing since the start in 2016 and helping start the local Oregon Chapter in 2017. The local chapter is involved in many community outreach activities throughout the year. She is passionate about sharing the trades with women and young adults. Kendall stepped away from the family business at the end of 2018. She was able to work for the Alzheimer’s Association until February of 2021 when the passion for the roofing industry brought her back to the family business. She loves the blue collar industry and everything it has brought to her family.

She is passionate about her family and loves working alongside her husband on his business as well. They have two daughters that she works hard for everyday. She wants to show them that she is a strong women and they are too. She is committed to having her daughters grow up in a world where they can do anything.
